Welcome to a to Howick Pakuranga Cricket Club. We hope you enjoy the friendship of your team mates and success on the field. Our club has a number of grounds across the Howick Pakuranga area, with Lloyd Elsmore the main ground

At Howick Pakuranga we take pride in providing an opportunity for young cricketers to play in an organised sporting environment. Here at HPCC it is important that there is an emphasis placed on the enjoyment of the game and the clubs objective encompasses this enjoyment with:
“ to provide enjoyable cricket for children of all levels of ability”

All activity in the Junior Club is managed by the Junior Committee Members and Grade Liaison Officers. All are volunteers who give of their time for the enjoyment of junior cricket, played by the players for the players.

A Grade Liaison Officer manages each grade and is responsible for the organisation of their grade. Coaches
and Managers for each team work with the Liaison officer to ensure the effective running of the teams in all
ways. Remember your Grade Liaison Officer is always your first port of call for any of your Grade
specific queries.

The general rule of thumb is the player plays in this grade correlating to their school year (i.e. Someone
in year 5 at the club should be in year 5 at school.) as at 1 September.

The season commencement dates are still to be confirmed by Auckland Cricket but we expect games to start on the first Saturday after Labour Weekend for both the One-day and Two-day teams.

For the exact dates please refer to the Club Calendar.
Uniform

All players must wear a white polo shirt, white shorts, white socks and white shoes (white or club hats are encouraged.) Cricket Express (29 Enfield St. Mt Eden) have Club approved clothing available.

The uniform is available at Cricket Express either online or 29 Enfield St. Mt Eden. Howick Pakuranga Cricket members receive a 10% discount on some items so remember to say you are from Howick Pakuranga .
Please ensure that players have the correct uniform in time for the season start at the end of October.

Parental Help - We would love your help!
We are a large club, over 650 junior players, and have a fantastic group of enthusiastic volunteers, parents just like you, who organize the club. We would also like your help to coach, manage, score or umpire during the season. This is very rewarding, kids love parents being involved. Please tick the appropriate box on the enrolment form if you can assist with your child’s team.
